HighPoint is a seed investor in Paytime.

In October 2017, funds managed by HighPoint Capital acquired a significant majority shareholding in OptiPay alongside a Senior debt provider to fund the book, taking the business to the next stage of its growth cycle.

Placard is Australia’s only secure card manufacturer. The Melbourne based company is a leader in the design, manufacture and fulfillment of transaction and identity cards for sectors such as financial services, transport, retail, loyalty and gifts. Placard is well established as a high quality card supplier, combining security accreditation from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. Many of Placard's customers are Australian household names such as Coles, Qantas, Westfield, NRMA, Australia Post, Medicare and many more. Placard was founded in 1987 and produces over 90 million cards annually.
In November 2012, funds managed by HighPoint Capital, co-invested with RMB Capital Partners and current management in
acquiring a majority shareholding in Placard. HighPoint Capital successfully exited Placard to RMBCP Fund I.

Smartpay design, develop and implement innovative EFTPOS and payment solutions for customers in Australia and New Zealand. The Company adds value to its clients’ businesses by providing a total EFTPOS and payments solution. The business has been operating in Australia for nearly 10 years and has supplied over 45,000 EFTPOS machines to over 18,000 Merchants across Australia and New Zealand. Funds managed by HighPoint Capital successfully exited Smartpay on market.
rhipe is a market leader for cloud and service provider software licensing in Australia and New Zealand and has recently expanded across South East Asia to meet both vendor and market demand. rhipe also assists service providers to transition towards cloud computing business models. Established in 2003, rhipe's (previously NewLease) key software vendors include Microsoft, Citrix, Datacore, McAfee, Red Hat, Trend Micro, Veeam, Zimbra and VMware. rhipe currently has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.

M&O Global is a world-class specialist training company for offshore oil & gas companies, delivering knowledge and safety training skills that save lives . M&O offers offshore, maritime and industry based safety training programs, using state of the art equipment and premier training standards. M&O's expert training instructors deliver internationally accredited training in the language and location required by its clients. The Group has a network of fixed training centres and mobiletraining services (Trainstation) across six continents. HighPoint and its investors provided growth capital to the M&O Group fora significant equity stake and then assisted management with key strategic, financial and operational decisions to help substantially lift earnings and position the business for a successful sale to a large FTSE 100 oil & gas engineering business. HighPoint achieved a net 38% IRR on the investment for its investors.
Funds managed by HighPoint Capital backed Greg Baker (the original founder and CEO) into Customers Limited (CUS:ASX) which was then a microcap ASX listed business. Over a period of three odd years the business grew both organically and via multiple acquisitions, into one of the largest independent ATM networks in Australia.

e-pay Asia Limited (EPY:ASX) operates one of Asia’s largest regional electronic payment networks, processing >100 million transactions pa and consisting of 15,000 Points of Sale that can accept cash payments for pre-paid mobile, reload, bill payment and process debit and credit card transactions. EPY generates most of its revenues from selling mobile reloads for 11 mobile operators in three countries.

Funds managed by HighPoint Capital acquired an equity stake in Bluepoint Aviation which is an aircraft leasing business focused on high-utility commercial jet passenger aircraft that are aged 15 years and older. The business focuses on acquiring popular narrow-bodied aircraft such as the Boeing B737-400, Airbus A320-200 and wide bodied twin aircraft such as the Boeing B767-300ER, with an average 5-7 year lease attached. These types of aircraft with associated leases provide high yield returns with the ability to charge maintenance reserves.
